SURREY SCHOOLS SOLAR PV EVENT - TUESDAY 28TH JANUARY 2014

Surrey County Council and the energy company Ethical Power are holding a Solar PV event for Surrey schools:
The event is in response to the fact that more schools are considering installing solar pv and the Council's Property, Legal and Sustainability teams are working together to support schools through this process:
The event will provide an opportunity for schools to learn more about the main aspects of any solar pv project:
• Benefits (financial/environmental)
• Options (up-front purchase of equipment / roof lease with payment through purchasing reduced price electricity from the system – representatives of the energy company Ethical Power will be present who have already installed on a number of Surrey schools and will give further information on their current offer)
• Process (surveys/legal)
• Responsibilities (school/SCC/installer)

2.30 – 3.30 pm Presentations:

3.45 – 4.30 pm Question and Answer Session
Registration can be made via SURVEY MONKEY. Please note that registration for the event will close on Friday 17th January 2014.
