Surrey County Council Eco-Schools Home
Any school that is working through the Eco-Schools framework is not required to work on all of the topics at once. However, whilst working on one topic you may find you make improvements in other areas, as they are designed to interlink.
Energy is the only compulsory topic; by completing this topic you can cut your energy bills and reduce your schools carbon footprint.
Your Eco-Committee (or whatever you decide to call it) will choose the topics your school wishes to address once you have completed the start up stages of the Programme, to help you get started on your Eco-Schools Journey go to this use this helpful link (Surrey Eco-Schools Easy Start-Up) which will take you to a video and start by registering with Eco-Schools at Eco-Schools Registration.
Other activities and case studies from Eco-Schools can be found on both the Eco-Schools website and the Pod website. Don’t forget you can contact your local Green Flag Ambassador school for advice too.
